BTE 2019/2020 . Bologna Tango Encuentro Meeting&Festival

 

Why Bologna?    has 4 important things:

Bologna “the Dotta”. The first university in the Western world is born within its walls.

Bologna the “La Grassa”. Everyone knows that in Bologna we eat well. Tortellini, mortadella and ragù are known all over the world.
Bologna the “Rossa”. The color of the plaster used, designed with over 350 shades of red and yellow, is the color of the city walls since the Middle Ages.
Bologna the “Turrita”. Because once there were at least 100 towers in the city.
We hope to let you know and appreciate all this.
Why Encuentro?
When people who come from different cities and countries meet, the best thing that happens is to “get closer” to an immediate sharing and emotion that comes from that thought of tango that everyone carries within himself. We will live all this within “a new story” that we will tell you during the BTE, we will live as in a long embrace until the new year … 2019.
We will dance illuminated by the spectacular lights of the Royal Hotel Carlton in Bologna, which will guarantee warm and sufficient light to see and invite. This is one of the most beautiful hotels in the capital of Emilia, located in the city center and convenient to the C.le Station, but also reachable by car because it is outside the pedestrian area. The 2019 BTE will take place in the “Parakultural” of the prestigious Hotel, we will dance in a 300 sqm track that will guarantee the comfort necessary for this great event at the end of the year. All in one location, those who want to stay in the hotel that houses the encuentro. We invite you to respect the ronda and style of the event, invitation with the mirada (the look) and the cabeceo (nod with the head).

• 05:00 p.m.  Opening of the Association Desk,welcome and registration of our guests at the Royal Hotel Carlton
• 08:00 p.m. Dinner in the Restaurant of the hotel
• 10:30 p.m./ 03:00 a.m. Milonga in Parakultural  Hall. TDj Alan Spotti .Inauguration Milonga open to all interested, with Fai Tango Card or  Serendipty Art Card. Midnight Snack with sweet and salted snacks, fruits. Free water.

• 10:45 a.m. Guided Tour on foot departing from hotel. With and for you: an actress / touristic guide for an amusing and interesting walk in the center of Bologna. Rendeszvous at 10:30 a.m. in the lobby to participate to “Zdaura (🙂🙂translation impossible!), witches and other demons”
• 12:45 p.m.  Lunch in the Restaurant of the hotel (à la carte menu with 25% discount for the participants to BTE).
• 02:00 p.m. 07:30 pm. “Explora tu tango” : Workshop with the  artists
• 08:00 p.m. Dinner in the Restaurant of the hotel

• 10:30 p.m. Arrival of guests participating to the  New Year’s Eve Toast and  shift in La Viruta Hall. SOLD OUT

• 00:00 New Year’s Eve Toast  with sweet snacks Buffet in La Viruta Hall.
• 00:10 a.m./ 05:00 a.m. Milonga in Parakultural Hall, Tdj Marco Dozio. Admission upon reservation with registration form. Snack with sweet and salted snacks, fruits. Free water. (SOLD OUT)
• 01:30 a.m.  Tango show of  Barbara Carpino y Claudio Forte. Goodbye with all teachers Ronda
• GROUP SHOT ALL TOGETHER. NOT TO BE MISSED!!
• 11:00 a.m. good bye, hugs and exchange of contact details. See you next year in BTE!!!
• Travel back home.

Serendipity Art Team will always assist you during the Encuentro.  Foreign guest will be assisted by our interpreter for german and english language

POLICY:

You can apply for your reservation without problems and be sure of your participation. It is possible to cancel your reservation until 15th December 2019 al 07:00 p.m. Cancellation is to be sent to: soci@serendipityart.it. You will receive your money back by bank transfer within the end of the next month after the event. Only for the part concerning tango, cancellations received after 15th December can be transferred to another guest choosing the same type of package. We will assist you at our best.

The Royal Hotel Carlton is in the centre of Bologna, near the pedestrian area, outside the restricted traffic zone and just a short walk from the railway station and Piazza Maggiore.

• To reach the hotel using satellite navigation, it should be set for Via Milazzo 6 to avoid the restricted traffic zone.
• The hotel is just 5 km from G. Marconi airport.
